When it breaks, it forms honeycomb-like blunt-angled particles, greatly reducing the risk of injury. This exceptional glass is extensively used in curtain walls, doors/windows, partitions, and furniture, although it cannot be re-cut after tempering. The spontaneous breakage risk is approximately 0.3%, often due to nickel sulfide impurities, but can be effectively mitigated through lamination processes.
