Bent tempered glass, also known as curved tempered glass, is a type of safety glass that has been processed through controlled thermal or chemical treatments to increase its strength compared to normal glass. The tempering process puts the outer surfaces into compression and the inner surfaces into tension, which makes the glass much stronger and more resistant to impact. Bent tempered glass is produced by heating the glass to a high temperature and then bending it to a specific curvature before it is rapidly cooled. This process not only gives the glass its curvature but also its safety features, as it crumbles into small granular chunks instead of splintering into jagged shards when broken.
