Product Description
The principle of PDLC dimming glass is that a PDLC layer composed of liquid crystal droplets and polymer matrix is sandwiched between two pieces of glass, with transparent conductive films on both sides. When the power is off, the liquid crystal molecules are disorderly arranged, and the light is scattered, making the glass milky white and foggy (transmittance is about 5%). When the power is on, the electric field drives the liquid crystal molecules to align neatly along the direction of the electric field, allowing the light to penetrate directly, and the glass becomes transparent (transmittance is about 80%).
