When broken, it shatters into honeycomb-like, blunt-angled particles, dramatically reducing injury risks. This extraordinary glass finds extensive use in curtain walls, doors, windows, partitions, and furniture. It's important to note that post-tempering, it cannot be re-cut. The risk of spontaneous breakage is about 0.3%, often due to nickel sulfide impurities, yet this can be effectively minimized through lamination processes.
